Christmas trip

For those getting ready to celebrate Christmas, I wish you much joy!

It’s not easy travelling when your body is complaining at every turn. For those of you who will be travelling, please make sure to manage your family’s expectations:

  • Tell them you will need extra time to prepare; remind loved ones that rushing you will not help and may lead to accidents–which will slow down everything!
  • Let your family know if you will need to stop more often if travelling by car.
  • Make a list of essentials that you will need to take with you well before your travel date. Let a family member or your helper know about the list (or help you in making one) and help you check off items as you get ready.
  • If you haven’t already, now is a good time to tell the young ones in the family about past holiday traditions. And, let your children know about the traditions that are most important to you now.

A new year is upon us. Do you have any New Year’s Resolutions?

Happy, happy holidays,

Patricia xx
